Philosophy of multidisciplinary research: Theoretical issues and practical skills

Lecturer: Ingar Brinck, Lund University.
Tentative schedule: (minor changes to the schedule may occur) All lectures will be on Zoom.
Course days: 4-7 May.

Tentative schedule

The hours are 9-12 and 13.30-16.30 (lunch 12-13.30).

Tuesday 4 May, 9-12: Lectures, discussion in whole group.
13.30-16.30: Group assignments, rotating group presentations.

Wednesday 5 May, 9-12: Self-study in the morning. Afternoon: self-study cont’ed or form study groups of 2-4 people (online tutoring possible part of the day).

Thursday 6 May, 9-12: Lectures, discussions in smaller groups. 
13.30-16.30: Work and discussion in groups.

Friday 7 May, 9-12: Lectures, discussion in whole group.
13.30-16.30: Group work, presentations, final discussion and summing up.

Information on the course

Examination: Individual written assignment. You will be asked to apply insights from the course to your own research project.
Further information about the assignment will be presented on 4 May.

Further information about the course will be available by the end of March including a reading list.

The required literature consists in scientific articles that are downloadable from the University Libraries.
