This project investigates children’s intuitive understanding of artificial intelligence and computational concepts. We first explore children’s trust in AI as an information provider, examining whether this trust varies according to the type of information children seek. Next, we analyze how children interact with conversational AI, focusing on how they explore, test boundaries, and distinguish between AI and human conversational partners. Finally, we critically examine the existing literature on computational thinking, addressing current conceptual ambiguities, and explore how children practically use and understand computer science concepts.
