Summer School 2022

Welcome to the WASP-HS Summer School in Lund, August 22-26 in Lund!

The theme for this year’s summer school is social robotics. The PhD students will have an opportunity to work with the humanoid robots in the cognitive robotics lab at Lund University on a small project during the week. (Don’t worry, no soldering or programming is required). The goal is to gain practical insights into the possibilities and limitations of today’s social robots.

In addition, the program will consist of invited lectures and keynotes together with discussions on your thesis work as well as various social activities and events. We are happy to announce that so far Ana Paiva, https://ana-paiva.com/ and Erik Billing, have accepted our invitation. More speakers to come!

August 24 we have a joint dinner with the Assistant professors at Hypoteket in Lund. A separate registration will be sent out for this event.

Nota bene: You should plan for 5 full days in Lund, coming to Lund on the Sunday 21 of August if you don’t live in the area.
