Call for WASP-HS Research Groups

In April 2025, The Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program – Humanity and Society, WASP-HS, decided to set up five research clusters with cutting-edge humanities and social science expertise. The clusters both consolidate research in the program and hold a key role in WASP-HS capacity building, through the recruitment and training of WASP-HS PhD students and postdoctoral fellows and as hosts for international guest researchers.

As a complement to the research clusters, we are now inviting proposals to form WASP-HS Research Groups. Similarly to research clusters, WASP-HS Research Groups aim to foster research and capacity building. However, they will be smaller in scope, providing support for research initiatives and coordination, postdoctoral fellows, and international guest researchers but no doctoral students. They will also focus on topics of particular interest to the program.
