Suggestions for Community Reference Meetings
Deadline: 30 August 2024
WASP-HS (The Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program – Humanity and Society) has been organizing Community Reference Meetings (CRMs) since 2021. These online events are designed to foster knowledge exchange and discussion among WASP-HS researchers and public and private actors in Sweden around specific topics. Past topics include Healthcare, FinTech, Smart Cities and Sustainability, Challenges and Opportunities of Regulating AI, and Media and AI, among others.
CRMs typically include a presentation by a keynote speaker followed by three to five roundtable discussions exploring different aspects of the CRM topic. CRMs tend to be well-attended, drawing an average of 50 to 60 participants, and are normally held in the afternoon (CET) lasting about 1,5 hours. A comprehensive list of previous CRMs and reports summarizing their main points are available on our website.
WASP-HS is now planning for 2025 and looking for topic ideas for upcoming CRMs. We especially invite ideas for CRMs that will be co-chaired with a non-academic organization, company, or stakeholder.
To suggest a topic, please fill out the form below by 30 August 2024.

If you have any questions, please contact the WASP-HS Program office (contact@wasp-hs.org). Please note that suggesting a topic does not guarantee that the CRM will materialize.
We look forward to receiving your ideas.
Best regards,
Christofer Edling
