    Invitation to Form and Suggest WASP-HS Research Clusters
    WASP-HS aim to fund research clusters, or national hubs for research, to advance the understanding of the consequences of AI and autonomous systems for humanity and society. We are currently seeking input from the research community to help shape the initiative and define themes for the research clusters. The invitation is directed both to senior researchers already active in WASP-HS and other researchers with a strong research record in the area. With this process we hope to initiate discussion and exchange to find common interests and partners.

    WASP-HS Postdoctoral Scholarships on AI, Humanity, and Society at Stanford University
    WASP-HS invites applications for postdoctoral scholarships, which would begin in the fall of 2025 at Stanford University. The goal of the scholarship program is to provide postdoctoral fellows with the opportunity to grow into independent investigators, experience new research environments, and expand their international networks. WASP-HS welcomes applicants from all disciplines.

    Research Initiation Grants for Data Driven Life Sciences and Society
    This call aims to provide funding for research investigating the human and social challenges of data-driven strategies developed and applied within the life sciences. The research should aim to increase the understanding of how using artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous systems, and data-driven methodologies has effects and consequences in the life sciences, medicine, and/or society.
