WASP-HS Call

Project Initiation Grants

Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program – Humanity and Society (WASP-HS) fosters novel interdisciplinary knowledge in the humanities and social sciences about AI and autonomous systems and their impact on human and societal development.

This call supports innovative ideas within the WASP-HS domain that address a gap in international research and require a multi- or interdisciplinary approach. As these grants are intended for project initiation, proposed activities should lay the groundwork for developing new lines of research and, ideally, future funding applications.

Proposals can focus on a specific research question or aim to develop conceptual, methodological, or theoretical issues. Examples of activities that can be supported include meetings, workshops, short guest visits, and demonstration projects. International participation is welcome.

Funding between 50,000 and 200,000 SEK can be requested.
