Management Team
WASP-HS Welfare Collaboration Arena contributes to advancing research that takes its starting point in the real-world challenges of the welfare sector and explores how artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous systems can be used in a responsible and socially relevant manner.
Through long-term collaborations, the arena helps ensure that new knowledge can be applied in the ongoing digital transformation of welfare services. It creates opportunities for researchers and representatives of welfare organizations to jointly understand complex challenges, develop new perspectives, and contribute to future knowledge.
Vision
The vision of the Welfare Collaboration Arena is to support and promote excellent, internationally visible, interdisciplinary collaborative research on how AI can be developed and integrated into welfare services in a humane, legally secure, resilient, and sustainable way that supports the development of competence, independence, and capabilities among employees and citizens.
Mission
The mission of the Welfare Collaboration Arena is to:
- Build a national research and collaboration arena for interdisciplinary research on the development, implementation, and consequences of AI and autonomous systems within the welfare sector.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and the implementation of research results in the AI-driven transformation of welfare services.
