WASP-HS invites applications for postdoctoral scholarships. The goal of the scholarship program is to provide postdoctoral fellows with the opportunity to grow into independent investigators, experience new research environments, and expand their international networks.
These scholarships will enable promising researchers who have recently obtained their doctorates at a Swedish university to spend one to two years at either MIT or Stanford University. Applicants from all disciplines are welcome. Please see the individual calls for specific conditions and requirements.
All scholarships will begin in the fall of 2026. Postdoctoral fellows at MIT will be affiliated with Social and Ethical Responsibilities of Computing (SERC), a program focused on fostering responsible innovation in computing technologies. Fellows at Stanford University will be affiliated with the Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) institute, which promotes AI research and policy that prioritizes societal benefit and ethical responsibility.
